Dreamcast - Quake III Arena Cheats

Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting to unlock a maze mini-game on the VMU. Successfully complete the maze-mini game to unlock a cheat on the cheat menu.

To access the cheat menu, pause the game and choose the "Settings" selection, then scroll down past the "Internet" selection and choose the "Cheats" selection.

Depending on what difficulty the game was completed on will depend on what cheat was unlocked. Complete the game on different difficulty settings to unlock different cheats.

Beat the game in the easiest setting and gain access to the Armor Regen cheat. Your armor will increase by 2 every second until it reaches 100.

The following codes require a Dreamcast Keyboard. While playing a game, press ~ to display the console screen. Then, enter one of the following commands to activate the corresponding result:

Clear console line
/clear

Display console commnands
/help

Display player list
/who

Send message to all players
/say

Send message to indicated player
/say[1-4]

Send message to player that is attacking you
/tell_attacker

Send message to player that is targeted
/tell_target

Send message to your team in team modes
/say_team

Beat the game in 'Bring It On' difficulty and gain access to the Every Weapon cheat. You will start each level with access to every weapon in that Arena.

Beat the game in 'Hurt Me!' Difficulty mode and gain access to the Increased Health cheat. Your default health will be 150 and your max health is increased to 300. [Your default armor also increases to 150 and max to 300.]

Beat the game in the hardest mode, 'Nightmare!', and you will unlock the Infinite Ammo cheat.

Beat the game in 'Hardcore' mode and gain access to the Powerup cheat. You will have infinite power up time. [For example, the Quad Damage will last until you die!]
