PlayStation 2 - Madden NFL 2001 Cheats

While at the Team Selection screen press Circle to make the 1960 - 2000 Super Bowl teams available. Press Circle once again to make the All Star teams from 1975 - 2000 available.

Hold L1, L2, R1 and R2 while buying a pack of cards. While still holding these four buttons, reset your PS2.

Once you're back in the game you should have the entire collection of Madden cards!

NOTE: Do this with a new career - resetting the machine may cause you to lose the data in the career you're cheating with.

You'll never run out of Creation Points with this cheat! While in the Edit Player screen, press Right and highlight the Speed category. Press X twice.

You should now be able increase all of this player's stats without losing any of your Creation Points.

This one seems to be a bug that you can exploit. At kick-off, aim at one of the corner End Zone markers. As long as the ball goes out of bounds (while in the air) between the 10 yard line and the goal line, the computer gets the ball where it went out of bounds.

After scoring, these key combos will make your player celebrate!

Hip Thrust - L1 + Square
Jump Spike - L1 + Circle
Say a Prayer - L1 + Triangle
Shoulder Shake - L1 + R1
Slam Dunk - L1 + R2
Spike Football - L1 + X

Heading straight to the Super Bowl is a snap with this cheat. At the Playoff Screen, higlight your team but don't select them in the usual manner.

Instead, press R1 and X simultaneously. You should hear the cheat buzzer sound. Now press R2 and Triangle simultaneously. The Super Bowl selection screen should now appear.
