To get a random rider on the character select screen, hold down and release the R button.

Unlock Gear

Darkness Gear ... Clear the Hero Story mode.
Tempatation Gear ... Clear the Hero Story mode.
Smile Gear ... Clear the Hero Story mode.
E-Rider Gear ... Clear the Babylon Story mode.
Magic Carpet Gear ... Clear the Babylon Story mode.

Unlock Hidden Characters

Get all gold medals in Storm's, Wave's, and Jet's missions and you will unlock the Chaos Emerald board. You can select Sonic and the Chaos Emerald board and you can be Super Sonic.

To get Aiai, Ulala, and Nights, you must complete all of Storm's, Wave's, and Jet's missions. You don't have to get gold, just complete them all.

Unlock E100000R

Play the game for 50 hours.

Unlock Guardian

Unverified. Finish first on Night Chase, Red Canyon, Ice Factory, White Cave, Dark Desert and Sky Road to unlock Babylon Story Digital Dimension. Clear Babylon to unlock the Guardian.

Unlockable: SEGA Courses

To unlock the two SEGA courses in the game -- Carnival and Illusion -- you must get gold emblems on the grand prix.

Unlockable: Jet's Messions

Achieve a Gold Emblem (50 points) in both the Hero and Babalyon races in Normal Mode to unlock Jet's Missions.
