Additions by Violent Ken Hint: Free Puzzle StartsWhen solving a Picross puzzle in a 10 x 10 grid (most normal level puzzles), here are some tips for quickly filling in spots on the grid:
Hint: Series of 1sIf a column/row in a Picross puzzle has only 1s (like a series of 1 1 1 1), you can automatically put an X on either side of a filled in spot of that column/row, essentially letting you fill out three squares of the grid with just one solid block. Hint: Xs are ImportantEffectively using X-marks to fill in the grid of a Picross puzzle is just as helpful in solving the puzzle as filling out solid blocks. When you run out of solid blocks that you can logically place in the grid, start looking for grid squares that cannot possibly have a solid block and fill those grid squares with Xs. After working in your Xs, you can go over the puzzle again to find the logical placement for more solid blocks. Printable Picross DS Cheats |
