Press the tilde (~) key and then enter behindview 1.

NOTE: You must be on a server that allows cheats in order for this to work.

Press the tilde (~) key, and then enter mpcheat changeclass x, where x = code for desired weapon. The weapons codes are:

F: fists
R: M16A2 and grenades
G: M16A2 with grenade launcher
M4A1: M4A1
S24: M24 sniper rifle
S: M81 sniper rifle
AR: SAW
AK: AK47
GP: AK47 with grenade laucher
AK74SU: AK74SU
RPK: OpFor machine gun
SVD: Dragonov sniper rifle

Select the sniper rifle and target something through the scope. Then use the Weapon select cheat already listed on this page to select a new weapon. You will then be able to use the scope with whatever weapon you have selected.
