For maximum dizziness (it'll feel good to certain folks (kinda like a drug) and maximum control, first person is the only way to ride. Beat the "catch-up feature." Ideally, you'll want to get near the front of the pack but not in the lead going into the last few turns; then slingshot past the leader near the tape.
