Unlock Beam Sabre Clue & Muzak Remix

Beat Mega Man X3 to unlock hint number 3 and music number 4.

Unlockable: Dr. Wily

You must finish Grand Prix mode with any racer.

Mega Man X3 Gold Chip

Since it's a pain to find the golden chip, use the password 2776-5163-6462-7847. This gives you all items but no chip enhancements.

Before entering the first Dr. Doppler stage (after beating the 8 maverick bosses), you must have the following:

- all Ride Armor (mech) modules
- all 4 Armor pieces (not the chip upgrades)
- all 4 Sub Tanks fully charged
- all 8 Heart Tanks

Now enter the first Dr. Doppler stage. You will soon fight a midboss with a collapsing ceiling. Beat him, then leave the room. After leaving the room, I would suggest switching to Zero. Look for the first pit on the floor. Before jumping down, switch back to X and make sure his health is full. Slide down the left side to find a hidden capsule, where Dr. Light will give you the Super Chip (Gold Armor). This chip is a combination of the other four chips, giving X all their special abilities:

- healing by standing still
- stronger defense
- double dashing in any direction
- multiple charged shots

Hint - Heart Container Overdive Ostrich (MMX2)

Without the speed burner and x-buster upgrade, you can get the heart container in OO's stage. I've done it, so I know it works. After you crash your bike on the machine that makes the sand storm, go ahead a little and knock down all the small pillars before the structure at the top of the cliff.

After that, go back and get the bike again. While on the bike, if you hit the dash button right before one of the ramps created by the knocked over pillars, you'll get some serious air. Do this dash on the last ramp and you can make it up to the top of the cliff. If you knocked down all of the small pillars before the structure at the top of the cliff, you can keep your bike.

When you arrive at the structure, there is a hole that you can get over by dashing while still on the slanted part. Do this and go straight until you land on the platform with spikes. Go across the platform on the bike and turn at the last second before you crash into the wall of spikes. This will get you the heart container with a bit of skill and luck, instead of needing the Speed Burner and the Xbuster and Leg Mods.
