Unlock Levels

Start two player mode. On controller 1, hold R1 and L2, then press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, TRIANGLE. Then on controller 2 hold TRIANGLE and L2 and R2 and CROSS. Let go of all buttons and all levels should be unlocked at the level selection screen.

Unlock Extra Characters

Win every race in career mode to unlock more characters.

Hint: Get Extra Air

When you're about to go off a jump, hold R2. On top of the gauge there are some colors that will light up. Try to make all of them light up, and then release R2 when you're about to leave the ground.

Hint: Backflip on Flat Ground

Hold L1, X, and DOWN, and then hold R2 until all the lights turn on. Now let go of the buttons except X and DOWN. If done correctly, you will do a backflip.

Hint: Get Less Air

Tap L2 and R2 just when you leave the ground.

Hint: Bailing

To make an automatic bail, press L2, L1, R2 and R1. You will be able to bail at anytime.

Hint: Low Gear Exploration

If you want to climb a hill or ramp without any trouble, press and hold the clutch and gas button to go at a constant 15 MPH.
