Unlockable: Classic Characters

While playing in Classic Mode (Arcade), it's possible to use the classic versions of all of the characters in the game. To do so for any particular character, execute the corresponding button combination listed for that character after selecting him or her on the character select screen. Then, select that character once more. This must be executed rapidly, or it won't work.

• Balrog - Right, Left, Left, Right
• Blanka - Left, Right, Right, Right
• Cammy - Up, Up, Down, Down
• Chun-Li - Down, Down, Down, Up
• Dee Jay - Down, Down, Up, Up
• Dhalsim - Down, Up, Up, Up

Unlockable: Akuma

To unlock Akuma you must first beat all fighters leading up to M. Bison without continuing and in under 20 minutes - no easy feat. When you fight M. Bison Akuma will appear and you'll end up taking him on. You don't need to beat him to unlock him. After his appearance, you can highlight Guile on Arcade Mode's character select screen and press Up to select Akuma. In Vs. Mode you must select E. Honda and press up to select Akuma. To select Akuma in Classic Mode or Training Mode Classic, simply highlight Ryu And press LP+MP+HP+Start simultaneously.
